I would like to see it all sell together as it is everything one needs to explore landscape photography.  Its about $15,000.00 worth of equipment.  I would like to get about half that for everything.  I would consider selling the PROGRAF printer by itself, but the camera equipment, I want to sell as a complete unit for simplicity sake.

I am located in Winston-Salem and due to the value, size, and weight of the property, I am not willing to ship.  This is a first come first serve affair.  I'm not interested in any auctions.  Make me a fair offer, and its yours.  All of this is in like new condition and everything works perfectly.

Contact me with offers at 336-681-0220.

You can view pictures of the equipment here.

Note:
I wish I was a rich person! But then not being rich, as most of us are not these days! Is why so many photographers can not afford to do this as a Business. Even as a Hobby!
I know I no longer can do my Craft, Art Business any more for those very  reasons. It takes money for supplies and you have to have people with money to buy an Art Object! So I have a page of my older Art just to look at. It  just does not fit into daily family needs, So that is rough for Artists!
I wish Greg and everyone the very best in their lives of course, deep from my heart!
So Sorry for this kind of news!

9-eyes.com Features Google Street View's Most Beautiful And Disturbing Images

Just one of the many strange images found on Google Street View (9-eyes).
Google Maps with Street View says on its website that it "lets you explore places around the world through 360-degree street-level imagery. You can check out restaurants, visit neighborhoods, or plan your next trip."

Or, if you are Jon Rafman, you can use the service to capture unique, unexpected, artistic and sometimes disturbing pictures of people in unusual settings.

Rathman's website, 9-eyes.com, gathers the pictures, and is forming a cult following.

Check out the pictures and tell us what you think. We have no idea how the suited man (or is it a mannequin?) ended up on a lonely, rural lane. Why is the boy hiding behind the garbage can? We have no idea about that, nor why the reindeer is running down the road, or why Rafman - who blurs every person's face - decided to blur the face of an elephant. But you'll find that and much more in the collection.

Be warned: 9-eyes contains many flipped birds and shiny moons of a decidedly non-lunar variety. If you're all right with that and you have time to kill, you know where to head.

Click here to check out 9-eyes.com.

green-crowned brilliant fearlessly attacking a small viper

Photographer Bence Máté said:"I was photographing hummingbirds when I heard the sharp, alarming noise of the birds reacting to the presence of a predator. Sixty feet away from me this green-crowned brilliant was fearlessly attacking a small viper. The long shutter speed and shallow depth of field made it difficult to make an image with both animals sharp. This encounter was one of the most interesting ones I had ever seen, and I quickly set up two flashes to increase the light and shutter speed, using one flash fired from the background and another from the camera.”
Photographic information:
Camera: Nikon D700; 300mm ƒ/2.8 lens; 1/100 sec at ƒ/4; ISO 200; Canon 540EZ flash; Canon 550EX slave; Gitzo carbon tripod; Gitzo fluid head.

Feather Artist off the forest floor thank you Sal !

The  painters of these Feathers are outstanding,
but the message below the Feathers, "God's Wings," will touch your   heart.

These paintings were all made by Julie Thompson. ...

G-d's  Wings

After a forest fire in  Yellowstone National Park , forest rangers  began their trek up a mountain to assess the inferno's damage.  One ranger found a bird  literally petrified in ashes, perched statuesquely on the ground at the base of a tree.  Somewhat sickened by the eerie sight,  he knocked over the bird with a  stick.  When he gently struck it, three  tiny chicks scurried from under their dead  mother's wings.  The loving mother, keenly aware of impending disaster, had carried her offspring to the base of the tree and had  gathered them under her wings, instinctively  knowing that the toxic smoke would rise.  She could have flown to  safety but had refused to abandon her babies.  Then the blaze had arrived and the heat had  scorched her small body, the mother had remained steadfast...because she had been  willing to die, so those under the cover of her wings would live.
