Artist Richard Tooley

More Colored Pencil... Realism has become my primary discipline.

Although I use diverse techniques with a variety of media to create commercial

as well as fine art, I come back to realism often. I do not consider myself a "Photo Realist."

I take to many liberties with color, light and shade for the work to be "photo" realistic.

My subject choices are often common, yet overlooked, and unusual.

I began working with Colored Pencil as a

fine art medium in '92. I find it a very

responsive, and expressive tool that lends

itself well to the realism displayed here ...

I often use Colored Pencil in Mixed Media

applications.

They compliment and work well with

Pen and Ink, Airbrush, Graphite, Water Color

and Acrylic.

The examples shown on these pages are pure

Colored Pencil.

Oh wow, that is incredible.  It really does look like a photoshopped photo.  Thanks for the find!

Hello ...

I am the artist displayed on this page.
I found the page quite by accident while doing a search for a link that had been described to me by someone.

I would like to thank you for enjoying my work enough to add it to your Journal, and to thank those that posted comments for thier kind assessment.
